Elopement Photographer in Genoa
Ilaria & Michele
Some places hold the beginning of a story. And sometimes, years later, you come back — not to remember, but to feel it again. Ilaria and Michele started their journey right here, on a small beach in Nervi. Years later, they returned as husband and wife. Same cliffs, same sea, the same quiet connection — just deeper, more grounded. This is what being an elopement photographer in Genoa means to me: witnessing stories that come full circle.
Returning to Where it all Began
We began in the Parchi di Nervi, surrounded by greenery and soft evening light. It felt natural to start there — it was the space for their first dance, repeated now with a different kind of awareness. From there, we slowly walked towards the sea, following the path to the cliffs of Passeggiata Anita Garibaldi. Golden hour moved gently into blue hour. The light softened, the air changed, and everything became quieter. There was no rush — just time to be present.
During this session, nothing was staged. Ilaria and Michele needed just a little bit of direction. They moved together with ease — small gestures, familiar glances, the kind of closeness that grows over time. As an elopement photographer in Genoa, I don’t try to create moments. I notice them. I give space for what is already there — for emotion, for silence, for connection.
Every couple I work with brings something different. My role is to adapt, to listen, and to create images that feel honest. Because what matters is not only how it looked — but how it felt.
