As a photographer in Sestri Levante, I often say this coastal town feels made for love stories. Ilaria and Michele chose it for their pre-wedding photoshoot, and it turned out to be a perfect decision. Sestri Levante, with its two iconic bays — Baia del Silenzio and Baia delle Favole — offers both charm and intimacy, ideal for a couple in love.
We began our session in Baia del Silenzio, surrounded by colorful houses reflecting in the calm water. The rounded bay created a soft, cinematic background, full of life and Italian character. Between gentle sea waves and pastel tones, the couple’s chemistry was effortless. We wandered through the narrow streets, stopped under palm trees, and let the city’s rhythm guide us.
Later, as the sun began to set, we moved to Baia delle Favole. This side of Sestri Levante feels more open and private — perfect for slower, more intimate moments. The warm light painted everything in reddish-orange tones, blending beautifully with the deep blue of the sea. Ilaria wore a vintage dress that once belonged to her grandmother, adding a personal, emotional touch to the session.
Their engagement photos capture tenderness, joy, and anticipation. You can almost feel the sea breeze in each frame. They later used these images on their wedding website — a timeless reminder of this chapter before their big day.
