Portrait Photoshoot in Genoa
Fiorella
A portrait photoshoot in Genoa can be more than just a collection of pictures — it can become a story, an experience, and a piece of art. For this session with Fiorella, I wanted to create something that blended fine art inspiration with the raw beauty of Ligurian nature.
The idea came from John Everett Millais’ painting Ophelia — a symbol of serenity, emotion, and connection with nature. Instead of an English river, we chose Laghetti di Nervi, a quiet and almost mystical location just outside Genoa. With its deep greenery and turquoise-green water, it was the perfect natural stage for our vision.
We met early in the morning to catch the soft, diffused light and enjoy the peace of the place before it became busy. The light filtering through the leaves reflected on the water, wrapping everything in calm, dreamy tones. Fiorella wore a flowing white dress that moved gently with the breeze — she looked like a modern-day nymph, graceful and timeless.
The result is a series of portraits that feel poetic and alive — a fusion of fine art and emotion. Each image captures not only Fiorella’s beauty but also the connection between her and the natural surroundings.
This portrait photoshoot in Genoa shows how light, color, and nature can come together to tell a story. Whether you live in Italy or travel here for a once-in-a-lifetime experience, Genoa offers endless possibilities for unique, personal, and artistic portrait photography.
If you dream of capturing yourself in this kind of setting — intimate, natural, and full of atmosphere — let’s create your own story in Genoa.
